Katie Ronia is 25 years old. She was born in Twentynine Palms, California and has lived here most of her life. She received Christ into her heart when she was 3 years old and has been attending Twentynine Palms First Assemble of God since 2013. She lived abroad in Tanzania for two years as a volunteer Pre-Kindergarten teacher and teaching mentor at Hope International School. Katie has an Associates degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences and a Bachelors of Psychology. Katie has passionately worked with children for 13 years.

American Heritage Girls is the premier national character development organization for young women that embraces Christian values and encourages family involvement. They learn life skills, social skills, spiritual development, leadership, teamwork, how to build confidence, and character development.

Vice Coordinator: Melissa McNiel
Melissa is the oldest of four, born and raised in Fresno, CA. She was baptized Catholic as a child and received Jesus as her Lord & Savior at 12 y/o. She has been married to her high school sweetheart for 9 years who was stationed at MCAGCC. Together, they have two beautiful daughters who are her drive and motivation in everything she does. She’s a full-time college student and part of the welcome team here at First Assembly of God Church.
Melissa is the Vice Coordinator of the American Heritage Girls Troop 0029. She works closely with the Troop Coordinator and Board Members to ensure that every adult leaders are properly trained to lead each unit. She is responsible in collaborating with unit leaders to track and process Troop Recognition Requirements.
